1. Who is a good fit for Armstrong's Haven?

Armstrong's Haven is designed for individuals seeking safe, affordable, co-living accommodations. It is best suited for those who are able to live independently and do not require daily medical or personal care assistance. 

2. How are roommates matched?

Roommate matching is often based on factors such as compatibility, shared interests, and support needs. Program staff may conduct  interviews to determine the best fit for each individual, taking into account preferences and potential conflicts. 

 

3. How long can individuals stay?

The length of stay  varies depending on individual needs, program requirements, and available resources. Some programs may offer short-term transitional housing while others provide longer-term support with the goal of helping participants achieve housing stability and independence. 

 

4. Is medical assistance provided?

Armstrong's Haven does not provide assisted living services. 

5. Can I bring my own furniture?

Armstrong's Haven is fully furnished for your convenience. We provide beds, storage, a fully equipped kitchen, a shared living room, shared bathrooms, and on-site washer and dryer. 

 

6. Do you accept Section 8 / Housing Choice Voucher?

We do not accept Section 8 / Housing Choice Vouchers.

7. Do you offer refunds?

Program fees paid are non-refundable. We will do everything to accommodate participants needs and make the necessary referrals to other providers/community resources if we are not a good fit.  

 

8. Are meals and transportation provided?

We do not provide on-site meals or transportation services.

9. Are homes supervised?

We provide 24/7 security camera surveillance, and periodic wellness checks to help ensure a clean, secure, and supportive living environment. 

 

10. How can I apply?
